Styling Flares

I love flares. I remember finding a pair of flared jeans in a charity shop a few years ago for £2 when they first came into fashion - I was super chuffed. I find them so easy to wear and pretty comfy too. Here's how I've styled flares recently...

I bought this pair of green, high-waisted flared trousers from Topshop a little while ago and they just fit me so well. I do think that the shape of them doesn't do too much for me in terms of how short my legs look but I love them anyway.

I found that they're so easy to style. You can just tuck in a t-shirt and you're good to go while still looking a little jazzy for the day. I've started pairing loose blouses with them, which looks effortless but just a little more put together.

I've found that jackets and shoes can be difficult to pair but I think I've found my go-to combination. I opt for a black, relaxed blazer as it kind of gives off those androgynous vibes with an almost 20s silhouette as it falls over the waistline. For shoes, I've been going for a brogue boot with a mid heel. Alternatively, a pair of white pumps (like some vans) work for a more chilled outfit.

What I wore:

Dalmatian print blouse: Topshop (Similar)

Flared trousers: Topshop (Almost exact - different colours

Brogue boots: New Look (Only similar ones I've found are leather)
