The scrub is a mix of ground oatmeal, brown sugar, ground coffee, cocoa butter, shea butter and olive oil. The oatmeal, sugar and coffee are obviously the exfoliants but the combination of the oatmeal and coffee make it a much milder scrub so you don't feel like you're losing skin! The butters and oil make it so moisturising and immediately leave your skin feeling super soft before you've even used a moisturiser. I didn't think I could be as impressed with a body scrub as I was. I instantly loved it. Because it is much finer than a normal sugar scrub it spreads across your skin more evenly so that you don't need to use as much product. At £14 it will definitely last you a long time - I've been using it once a week.
PRO TIP: As it contains coffee it will essentially 'create coffee' in your bath/shower so make sure you keep towels/clothes out of the way so that they don't get splashed. It's never a problem to wash away from surfaces and would probably come out of materials easily but just in case ya know?
After I have scrubbed and finished my shower/bath I then dry off and apply a body butter. I ALWAYS moisturise after a bath or shower otherwise I feel like I get really dry skin. If you have really hot baths or showers it strips the natural oils from your skin. So it's probably not really that good for you but I like to treat myself. After a bath I prefer a thick body butter that I can let soak in - especially after a scolding one. I recently started using the Laidbare Butter Me Up organic shea body butter and it's perfect. It's thick but not too thick? It feels like it's almost been whipped up. Once it has soaked in, it doesn't leave a greasy residue and leaves my skin super soft. It also smells delicious but doesn't have a 'hippie' vibe to it, which can put some people off. The combination of these two leaves my skin feel so super soft! I have also recently discovered a great cruelty free and organic cleansing routine that leaves my face super soft too!
